PRP Hair Treatment

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is the injection of platelet, or platelet-rich plasma, obtained from the person's own blood, into the desired area. Platelets are one of the cellular elements found in our blood, such as red and white blood cells. The main task of platelets is to repair damaged tissues, return them to their natural state and ensure the growth of new cells. The aim of PRP treatment is to increase the natural healing capacity of the skin with one's own growth factors. In PRP treatment, much more platelets are delivered to the damaged tissue than can be carried by the bloodstream. Thus, both platelet transplantation takes place and your body continues to send platelets to the application area.

HOW IS HAIR PRP TREATMENT DONE?

PRP treatment begins by taking blood from the person. The blood taken is placed in blood tubes with special solutions that separate plasma and blood. Then, the red cells in the blood are separated by centrifugation and microfiltration methods. After this procedure, platelet-rich plasma emerges and becomes applicable. Plasma fluid is drawn into an injector and the area to be administered is prepared for injection. Plasma is injected into the area to be injected using the napping method. After this treatment, which lasts for 30-40 minutes on average, the application area is massaged. It is not recommended to take a shower on the day of application.
