Operation Process
If the patient has a breathing problem for whatever reason, a breathing operation is performed within the same operation. The patient is operated in the morning, the operation takes approximately 1-2 hours and ice is applied to the eyes after the operation. It is very likely that the patient will not have pain after the operation. There may be mild tingling instead of pain.
Post-Operation
The patient is hosted in the hospital for one night, the reason for this is to increase his comfort. He is discharged in the morning. After the operation, the patient is called for control on the 3rd day. Today, silicone air channel splints have replaced cloth tampons, which are our fearful dreams and patients’ dreams. This change in surgical technique is revolutionary. Since the silicone does not stick to the right and left, the patient does not get hurt when it is removed, the patients only experience the feeling of pulling the silicone through the nose. In some of the patients (in those who do not have a breathing operation), no nasal packing is placed. When one week is up, the 2nd control is done, the nasal splint is removed and the tape is stuck in its place. The next process is now the natural healing process. When one month is up, the patient is invited, post-operative photographs are taken and compared with the patient by placing them side by side with the pre-operative photographs.
